Ceros: < dont you mean abilitys....: Cero (虚閃, セロ, Sero; Japanese for "Hollow flash," Spanish for "zero", Doom Blast in the Viz translation) is a form of attack used by Menos, Arrancar and Vizard. It consists of firing a blast of concentrated spirit energy at the target. While in most cases it is fired from the mouth, some Arrancar and Vizard are capable of firing Cero from their hands, fingers and other parts of their bodies.

The power, force, speed, color, and blast area of the Cero is dependent on the strength of the user (i.e., the stronger the user, the stronger the attack), and there are some Arrancar and Vizard who have come up with their own variation.



Gran rey cero (王虚の閃光, グラン・レイ・セロ, guran rei sero; Japanese for "royal Hollow flash", Spanish for "grand king zero") is a Cero that only Espada are allowed to use. It is performed by mixing an Arrancar's own blood with the Cero. The result is a Cero with a much greater attack power and speed as well as a change of color unique to the Espada. It is also many times more powerful than a normal Cero, capable of disturbing the fabric of space, it also seems to spin like a razor upon release as compress and decompress due to the sheer speed and raw power. It is a drastically potent Cero, used only by the Espada themselves. This attack was first used by Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez in order to incite Ichigo Kurosaki into donning his mask.[6] It is stated by Ulquiorra that using a Gran Rey Cero is one of two things that are forbidden while in Las Noches, as it is so overwhelming that it could destroy the fortress.[7] So far, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez is the only member of the current Espada to utilize this attack.


Bala (虚弾（バラ）, bara; Spanish for "bullet", Japanese for "Hollow Bullet") is an Arrancar technique that hardens the user's reiatsu, and releases it from their hand like a powerful bullet. This technique is not as powerful as a Cero, but is about 20 times faster. Its power also varies with the Arrancar and Espada.[1] Some prominent users are Yammy Rialgo, Wonderweiss Margera and Findor Carias. The more powerful the Arrancar, the more enhanced Bala becomes.

Hierro (鋼皮（イエロ）, iero; Spanish for "Iron", Japanese for "Steel Skin") is an Arrancar technique in which the user's Reiryoku condenses, creating a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a zanpakutō. This also allows them to fight the sword-wielding Shinigami barehanded. The strength of an Arrancar's Hierro depends on their spiritual power; Nnoitra Jiruga claimed to have the strongest Hierro. It is unknown if Nnoitra's claims are true as four Espada are of higher rank and power, and a former Espada was able to injure him without reciprocation. While Hierro can block even released zanpakutō, Kenpachi Zaraki discovered that he could cut Nnoitra's by adapting to the latter's Reiatsu.

The technique is exclusive to Arrancar, though it is yet to be seen if Vizard are capable of creating Hierro during their Hollowification. Shinigami have been shown using reiatsu to block or lessen the blows of zanpakutō, like when Ichigo Kurosaki used his reiatsu to momentarily stun Shūsuke Amagai during their battle. Also, when Ichigo and Kenpachi Zaraki first fought, Ichigo failed to injure him after Kenpachi himself offered Ichigo an opportunity to cut him. However, this ability cannot be done nearly to the same extent as the Arrancar's technique.

Ichigo, in his half-transformed Hollow state, exhibited a variation of this technique where, after enduring several injuries inflicted upon him by the Vizard, his wounds immediately regenerated into bone-like carapaces that appear to be just as resistant as the standard Hierro, if not moreso.

Negación (反膜 (ネガシオン), Negashion; Japanese for "counter membrane", Spanish for "negation") is the term used for the fields used by Hollows to rescue fellow Hollows. Only the Gillian-class Menos have shown the ability to use it. Negación fields surround a target in a square beam of light that isolates the target from the dimension they are currently in, making it impossible to harm them. The field then pulls the target towards the menos that created the field.

Garganta (黒腔, ガルガンタ, Garuganta; Spanish for "throat", Japanese for "black cavity") is how Arrancar move to and from Hueco Mundo. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway. It is primarily used by Hollow and Arrancar, but some other characters have used it through different means.

Sonido (響転（ソニード）, Sonīdo; Spanish for "Sound", Japanese for "Sound Ceremony") is a technique used by Arrancar which allows them to move at extreme speeds, making it similar to the Hohō (or flash steps as they are called in the English Dub) that Shinigami use. While somewhat similar to Hohō, Sonido appears to be more instinctual than Hohō, requiring no previous knowledge to perform.

History: yin was arrancar 99. over time her skill increaces at a fast rate. she proved to be a magnicant healer. not only is she good at healing but she is a skilled fighter. she was fed souls of high power. an she was tested on many time to see how much torture she could go though. the armor that cover her is part of her zan it is removable. her real sword zan is a 3 foot twin katanas. shes also been show to use skills only gillan class can use. she is shy so she normaly just stay behide an gaurd las noches.
